BE enhances your XP environment by adding "extra" features and applications that are not native to XP.
Most of these features and applications (ssh, bash, mplayer, openssl, etc.) are accessed via the command prompt though there are a few graphical applications too (putty, filezilla, gmplayer, winscp, etc.).
